Dear Parent/Guardian,

NEW PARKING REGULATIONS

Warning!  A new legal process has now been completed to prevent stopping on the existing “School Keep Clear” markings.  The times the prohibition will operate will be Monday to Friday between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.  All school sites are to be regularly patrolled so that enforcement of this traffic regulation order can be undertaken.

SCHOOL MILK

Letters have already been distributed to all Key Stage 1 pupils saying that the price of milk has now gone up to £9 per term.  If you wish your child to drink school milk, please send this to school on the first day back after the Easter break.

DINNER MONEY

Could I please ask parents to put dinner money in a named envelope and give this to your child to hand in on a MONDAY morning.  If you have no change, the office will return the change with your child.

For those of you who wish to pay in advance, the cost of dinners to half-term (23.05.08) will be £52.50 or to the end of the summer term it will be £105.00.  All cheques made payable to DMBC.  Thank you.

The Easter Bingo on Friday was well attended and enjoyed by all and our thanks go to all those who helped us raise £281.

SOCIAL EVENING/RACE NIGHT

The school is holding a fundraising social evening on Friday 11th April, 2008 at the Ukranian Club, Beckett Road,  There will be bingo, quizzes, a buffet and plenty of other fundraising activities.  The evening is to be for adults only and tickets, priced £3 each, are available through school.

STREET DANCE

I am looking at expressions of interest, initially, for parents interested in their child participating in Street Dance Workshop sessions (4 sessions 8.15 a.m. – 8.45 a.m. / min. 12 people, max. 30).  I need to book this now if we wish to offer the workshop in September, so if you are interested, please inform Mr. D’Rozario, in writing, after the Easter Break.

Thank you for your continued support.

Easter Blessings to you all and I look forward to seeing the children on Monday 7th April at 08.55 a.m.
