Dear Parents,
Please find the enclosed information that I wish to draw to your attention.
We welcome all the children who will be new to Reception in September, as they reach a significant milestone and begin the Primary schooling.
CLUBS
Sewing, Crafts and Board Games clubs will resume this Thursday 11th June and 18th June (please note that there are only 2 sessions running from 3.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.)
These clubs will resume next academic year.
The Running Club resumes this Friday 12th June and 19th June. This club will not take place if the ground is wet.
CHANGEOVER DAY
On the morning of 1st July, your child will meet their new class teacher and provide them with the opportunity to become familiar with their new setting from September.
SPORTS DAY
This event has been planned for Tuesday 14th July as follows:
11.00 a.m. Key Stage 1 events
12.00 noon Picnic lunch (those on school dinners will be provided with a picnic
lunch by Doncaster Schools Catering). You are welcome to join us
and bring your own picnic – no alcohol or glass bottles.
1.00 p.m. Balloon Release (P.T.A.) followed by Key Stage 2 events.
Key Stage 1 children may be taken home after the picnic lunch providing the class teacher is informed.
Key Stage 2 children may be taken home straight after the event providing the class teacher is informed.
On no account will children be allowed to leave with an adult other than a parent unless written consent is given prior to the event.
CLIMATE JUSTICE – CREATION CARE
Saturday 11th July, 2009. Please see enclosed for all details.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Please ensure that your child comes to school in the correct school uniform, including footwear.
Thank you for your support in this as the children always look very smart.
SEPTEMBER 2009
School opens for children on Monday 7th September, 2009 at 8.55 a.m.
And finally - Mrs. Jaram will be leaving school after 13 years dedicated service. She is much loved by the school and we wish her well for the future.
