Our school’s PTA Friends of OLMC (PTA) team is holding a Christmas Fair this year and we are looking for local people who might like to rent a table for their business.

It's £10 per table, this money will go to Friends of OLMC which will then be put back into our school for the children.

Please share this information with your friends and families. Thank you. ❤️

If you are interested in a table, please complete this Google Form which will go directly to Friends of OLMC (PTA), we are asking for this so we don’t get to many duplications of the same type of business.

We would like to extend a huge Thank you to Mr Thomas Gibbs for coming to our school and providing a fun interactive talk all about oral hygiene.

Thomas is a Teacher with Dentaid, the dental charity. The charity works to improve oral health and delivers the BrightBites oral health education programme.

BrightBites volunteers visit schools, nurseries and other groups to deliver a lively and interactive presentation, which covers names and functions of teeth, healthy eating, good toothbrushing techniques and the importance of regularly seeing a dentist.

The children are encouraged to practice toothbrushing on mouth models and ask questions. Everyone gets a leaflet, sticker and toothbrush and toothpaste to take home.

To find out more about BrightBites visit www.dentaid.org/bright-bites

All our children really enjoyed their talks and practicing teeth brushing on the moulds. children asked lots of questions which Thomas happily answered and they enjoyed working through the booklet.

Applications to Reception and Junior School (Year 3) for September 2025 are now open!📚🍎

Reception and junior school admission rounds are open. Parents will be sent a letter encouraging them to make their application before the closing date of 15 January 2025.

Applications for all community schools, academies and church schools should be made online using Doncaster’s admissions webpage: www.doncaster.gov.uk/admissions

The national closing date is 15 January 2025 and the announcement date is 16 April 2025. All applications made by this date will be considered together.

There are a large number of pupils within this cohort this year so those who apply late after this closing date are less likely to be offered a place at one of their preferred schools.

Further advice for families is available from the admissions team as follows: admissions@doncaster.gov.uk or by calling 01302 736000
