Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School strongly believe that every child has a right to grow up in a safe, loving and happy environment with equal access to an education.

We are committed to making this accessible to everyone by removing any barriers to learning and participation along with taking responsible steps to ensure that the welfare of children is safeguarded and that their safety is preserved.

We promote a whole school approach to the delivery of SEND, supporting both the Catholic and core values of the school within a fully inclusive ethos. We aim to provide a caring, supportive and safe environment, valuing individuals for their unique talents and abilities, with the aim that all young people can learn and develop to their full potential.

All pupils, including those with special education needs, will have provision, which enables them to achieve their best and develop good social and emotional skills in order to become confident individuals and live fulfilling lives.
